Isn’t it so damn ironic how when given the choice you can’t decide which the better of both choices is. But when having one option taken away, you start feeling so resentful about what you’re stuck with. Was it wrong right from the start? I really wonder at times. Maybe it was. Maybe I should not have at all. Or maybe, it's just me.
I worked hard for things then, but the element of fun was a large part that existed. Half the time in class, we were laughing our asses off, making a fool out of ourselves, playing with our phones, taking photos, asking stupid questions, passing food around, running out of class for toilet breaks. But things are so different here. Of course I can’t compare secondary school life to school life here. Nothing can ever replace the way things functioned in secondary school. There’s just this thing inside of me making me feel the extra need to work hard for everything I’m doing, so that I get that perfect score, that I hate. And it somehow seems like I’m in a way expected to attain such results as well. So what if I do? It feels so meaningless. What would all these even represent at the end? What’s with doing well and not even enjoying the process? I know JC’s really stressful, but I’d really rather the Singapore system. At least back in Singapore, everyone went through the same things. Everyone panicked together when exams were coming. Everyone studied together and stayed up through the night together. Everyone was helping the other. Everyone screwed up together and laughed about it. Doing well was something to rejoice about, especially when your friends did too. Then again, I can’t really say much cause that was what I experienced in secondary school and JC’s probably pretty different. The thing is you don’t really have a chance to screw up here. And it’s kinda individualistic that it sucks pretty badly. Seriously, the joy you derive from doing well here lasts for 2 mins. Cause after that mere two minutes, you’ll come to a realization that everything’s so meaningless.
I pretty much hate the way I feel like I’m working so much too or rather, I hate the way I am. I hate the way I function. I don’t even feel like myself. No, this is so not me. I hate feeling so damn freaking up tight about work. I hate the stress of having to get an A in every test I sit for. I haven’t felt like myself in quite a while. I’ve not gone crazy in a long while. I’ve not done things that I used to do for so long and it’s not a good feeling at all. I love the fun I had even while being serious about work. I wish I could just be like how I used too. Why do I react so differently to all these as compared to the others? Why is it so tough to just be like how I was in Singapore? Gah, I guess it’s just me feeling so shityzxzxxxzx about this system.
Sigh, I think I need more activities! Like a sport CCA or something. Something that gives me satisfaction after completing it. Something that I can commit to. But sigh, they don't have it here like they do in secondary school.
Why oh why.

went to SF over the weekend and gah, SF shooo beautiful :D they've got horse carriages on the streets! ahh, how nice! and the architectural design of the buildings are incredibly gorgeous! i wanna do smth like that too!! haha, for my house when i have the $$$ next time!! :D teehee, yay! i love SF!! and sexy!! i'm very sure you'll love it too!

the sky on our 5 hour journey there and back was star studded. so darn pretty. it reminded me of the first and only time i saw a shooting star with the dearest scandal in changrai. it was really amazing :) yay, the wonders of the world! oh and now i'm called "mei mei!" hahaha! it's so funny, especially when jenny says it!
anyways jayl victor minki and yeushiuan told me over lunch that chrystelle has an atm machine in her house! and haha of course i'm smarter than that, so even though ys vowed that its true, if not his family will "si kiao kiao"(haha but i'm not so evil! i don't want his family to si kiao kiao!!), i didn't believe! so i called chrystelle and she said it's true!! like ahh !#@$!^@!% how cool is that!! haha an atm machine!!!! BUT actually i still don't believe! so i'm gonna ask jess! jess won't lie :D
school's pretty much the same. except counselling's really boring and attendance is compulsory if not no credit!!!! so sigh okay. ak chan hasn't been in class for a while. comm10's getting more intriguing. gill's still quite monotonous. we've skinned and dissected a rat(!!), frog, fish, earthworm during zoooooology! i never thought i'd dare experiment on a rat though. but haha as disgusting as it sounds, its actually pretty fun! teehee.
i love how eng class feels so together in a way. during lesson the whole class usually collabrates to either try our best to buy time, by continuously throwing questions at Prof Geraghty, so we don't have to sit for the quizzz or when she steps out of class, we'll have some small mini discussion and then when she returns, some people would go "huh? OH we were supposed to do it? no! you didn't say that!" haha and its so funny cause she'll realise what we're up to at the end. haha, i like her!
on tuesday while grocery shopping at galleria, siki introduced me to the nicest strawberry icecream ever! ah, it's really da best yo! =D

i've been feeling so lazy these days i should slap myself haha. ponned 2 classes yesterday, and ak chan didn't appear for econs. so basically i only had one class from 8 to 11. and i kinda played through the weekend haha. ahh, rocker!

anyways i got into math7 but i spent such a long time in the room doing the placement test i'm quite sure the person wanted to chase me out. wooops :O

HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY FONGY!!

the week passed so quickly. it feels like my dad kinda just left for chicago and now he's coming back again. maybe its the weather here that makes time pass so fast! hmmm, strange..(haha)
had two tests on tues, one on thursday and just had one at 8am. got back the the midterms, and sigh, i really hate studying and putting in so much effort into smth only to realise you didn't do well. it sucks real bad. how demoralising. ahhhh, sucky sucky sucky suckxzxzxzx. okay okay, i'm not sore, i'm not sore! second zoology midterm on tuesday, bibliography, research paper proposallll, grrrr this system somehow does suck! okay but yeah, i really bet jc life sucks to the ultra ultra max. so ah well STOP COMPLAINING!!!
anyways, two happy news:
1. sntramp emerged as DOUBLE CHAMP!! AHHH YAY!!!!!! BEAT THAT!! haha, i'm really very very very happy!! :DDDDDD yipee! now this shows what sn is made off :) teehee. and and, PEIQI GOT INDIVIDUAL CHAMP!! :D ahhh yay it was her goal and she made it :) and awww, she dedicated it to the 2006tramp team, shooo sweeeet :) gee, i can't believe i missed out on all of the heat and excitement!!! and i won't even be back for artistic gym nats in july!! :( sigh, this is really sad! but nehhmind! i'll be able to next july! :D yay! sngym kicks assssss
2. my youngest brother got 2nd for xctry :DDDD yay, i'm so happy for him!! :D he lost to the first by 0.01min and sigh, he really wanted first. but yay he did his best! rock on hengy, and be HARPIE! =D

had my last midterm today and it wasn't too bad, i gueessss. but it was such a sad day to sit for a paper haha cause firstly, no one goes to school on a friday and secondly, i had to study for a paper on thursday night! almost everyone plays on thursday nights!! and the last time i played with them, i screwed up! haha looooser :O but yay at least professor gill was not as monotonous today!
anyways, oh yay! spring break's here! and everyone's like leaving! shuwei & yeushiuan left for SINGAPORE(!!!) last night and minki's leaving for melbourne tonight!! ahhh shoooo lucky! and cristal lee hui zhong is back in singapore!!! and and the thing is our july breaks don't coincide, so we'll only be able to ahem, reunite in december, ahh sigh sigh :(
there was zooooo fieldtrip last night at malibu to see the Grunion spawn!! but ahh, no fishy came on shore!! :( and some of my classmates were so evil!! >:( they were kinda blaming professor moss for making them go all the way there to see nothing. hur, its not like he deliberately made it a wasted trip. and he told us he wasn't sure too what! i don't really like people who grumble so much! =( i love professor moss!!! he's like so wise and so cute!! :D
