Changrai trip was way beyond awesome :)
the sky at night is so gorgeous you can just stand there gazing at the stars and you'll never get sick of it. caught a shooting star with my scandal on the first night, and then we made a wish :) it was the very first one both of us have ever seen haha, how fated. and the sunrise in the early morning's spectacular. you climb up the mountain, above the clouds and then you see from a far this vague orangey thingy rising up, slowly coming into view, behind this whole big patch of nice white fluffy clouds. it really seems like those kinda woohoo i can just walk on it & i'll reach paradise thing :D
miss playing with Chunchilla & Xienya(?) and eating with my two irritating small boy partners(Kinkai who looks like someone!!(Cheryl, Jan!) & xienzha). miss my small little boyfriend & Umphiga. miss seeing Belbel with all her little sons haha
it's like even though you speak two totally different languages, you're somehow still able to communicate, and that rocks :)
they bathe with really cold water everyday(without complaint), finish whatever food they're given, share their stuff so willingly.
and then sometimes you wonder how they manage to lead such a simple carefree life and why we have to lead such an extravagant(compared to theirs) life, hmmm
the going there & coming back feeling was a total contrast. we were dreading to go there so much when we reached Bangkok International Airport for transit to Changrai. but on the way back to Singapore, Siying & i were like 'throw our passports away let's just stay in Changrai!'
i really wouldn't mind more cold water baths, washing our own dishes, lack of toilet paper(until we found the secret sacred ones haha) etc, though uh huh, being back home's great :)
being with Cheryl Jan Bel Mersa Rui & Loo(with Looser, her bestfriend haha) throughout the trip was another thing that added to the awesome-ness! Jan Sa Loo & i had our thing at the same time which was fun hahaah the stupid ABC game we played, the food we snacked on, everything was so enjoyable! i'm so looking forward to next year's trip :)
