Happy Chinese New Year!
had the angpao lucky draw before we could get angpao from our parents(haha it's like some cny ritual thingy now), before heading to my paternal Aunt's place for lunch! had the best Yu Sheng i've ever eaten there! :O Nat, Youshang, Youting & Roy are such cuties! it's fun just being around them :) and my aunts & uncles are funny people! i love family reunions very much!
went to the same places after that then here i am, at my maternal uncle's house! mum's at the mahjong table, dad's at the pokercards table and the rest of us are sorta scattered everywhere, haha.
so the first angbao i recieved this year was on friday, from my dad's boss. his family came over for dinner. Liam & Genevieve are truly adorable! had dinner over at my uncle's office on thursday, one we have every year and reunion dinner yesterday, after watching Fun with Dick & Jane(hilarious show)!
cny celebration in school was very much different compared to the other 9 years of celebration in school! we were clad in school uniform as usual & it was a full school day. blame it on: the day being the eve of the eve of chinese new year, tsk. but well, it was fun nevertheless; the 10th and the last ever chinese new year celebration in school. wow, it's pretty fast how time flies!
